One week after a group of state lawmakers were denied entry into Alligator Alcatraz, the new illegal immigration detention camp in the Everglades due to safety concerns. Lawmakers are concerned with the conditions there and planned for an unannounced visit Saturday. State officials got wind of the plan and are now offering guided tours to state and federal officials, who are concerned those tours will feature 'sanitized' versions of the facility rather than oversight of the actual conditions of the facility.
