
Jonah Karp
Jonah Karp joined FOX 35 Orlando as a sports reporter in August 2025.
Jonah is a two-time Emmy Award winner with a Bachelor of Science degree in Broadcast and Digital Journalism from Syracuse University.
Jonah previously served as the Sports Director at FOX 61 in Hartford, Connecticut, where he led the station's on-site coverage of UConn Men's Basketball winning back-to-back NCAA Championships.
During his time in the nutmeg state, Jonah was nominated for five Emmy Awards. He won "Outstanding Sports Reporter" in the Boston/New England region in 2024 and 2025. Jonah was also a finalist for the NSMA "Connecticut Sportscaster of the Year" award in 2024.
Jonah started his professional career at FOX 54 in Huntsville, Alabama. The Alabama Broadcasters Association named him the "Best Sports Personality" in 2022.
Jonah is originally from Long Island, New York, and is a passionate, and often frustrated, Mets, Jets, and Knicks fan.
You can catch Jonah making divots on a golf course, in the passenger seat of a car singing Billy Joel songs, or quoting the movie Airplane to random people on the street. If you see Jonah, he'd appreciate a high five.
