Women's Health: Sponsored Advertising by AdventHealth

Dr. Ashley Hill, the Medical Director of AdventHealth Medical Group OB/GYN, visited Good Day Orlando on Monday to discuss women's health.

Dr. Hill recommends that women visit their physician to get a customized screening schedule based on individual needs.  It is recommended that beginning at age 20, women should receive an annual pap screening, and switch to every 3 years in their 30s. Beginning at age 40, women should get an annual mammogram-screenings should be scheduled sooner for women with a history of breast cancer in their family. Women should also plan to discuss family planning and fertility with their doctor to ensure they are in the best shape for pregnancy.
