Volusia County deputies search for car break-in suspect

Deputies in Volusia County are searching for the suspect behind a car break-in.

The Volusia County Sheriff's Office says that on the morning of November 16th, residents at a home on Black Ironwood Drive in DeLand were awakened by sheriff's deputies who discovered that their vehicle had been burglarized. Deputies were said to have been already in the area near Torchwood Drive because several car larcenies had just occurred at the nearby intersection.

Deputies say that someone had ransacked the resident's vehicle in the parkway, stealing change and a pair of binoculars.

The resident's RING video surveillance was provided to deputies in the hopes that someone might recognize the suspect or know something about the crime.
