Vice President Mike Pence to lead National Space Council at Kennedy Space Center

Vice President Mike Pence on Tuesday visited Cape Canaveral to lead the National Space Council at the Kennedy Space Center.

The vice president toured the Cape Canaveral Air Force Station launch facilities and participated in a commercial spaceflight federal reception.

On Wednesday, the vice president is expected to lead the second meeting of the National Space Council at NASA's Kennedy Space Center.  "Moon, Mars, and Worlds Beyond: Winning the Next Frontier" will include testimonials from leaders in the civil, commercial, and national security sectors about the importance of the United States' space enterprise
