Sanford man accused of secretly recording young girl undressing
SANFORD, Fla. (FOX 35 WOFL) - A Sanford man is facing several charges involving child pornography.
Agents with the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) said they arrested Gregory Eugene Stafford, 41, on count of production of child pornography, one count of child pornography possession and 35 counts of video voyeurism of a child under 18.
The FDLE launched their investigation after receiving a tip that Stafford was secretly recording an underage girl in "various stages of nudity," according to a press release. After searching his home at 138 Cedar Ridge Lane, agents said they found 35 videos of the victim, who was 12-years-old at the time, undressed or bathing.
Stafford was arrested and booked into the Seminole County Jail.
