Ring doorbell catches suspected car thieves

FLAGLER COUNTY, Fla. (FOX 35 WOFL) - Ring doorbells usually catch porch pirates, but this time, they caught suspected car thieves on tape.

The video captured by Ring helped deputies track down the suspects.

Two people were spotted in a Palm Coast driveway. The lights come on and the suspects take off. A neighbor saw what happened and called the authorities.

When authorities showed up, the victim realized that his truck was actually gone. Investigators were able to track it down. Four teens were arrested.

The victim says that he is grateful to his neighbor, who called in the suspicious activity, getting a jump start on the investigation.
