Man who stole a police cruiser waiting to see a judge
ORLANDO, Fla. (FOX 35 WOFL) - The man accused of stealing an Orlando Police Department cruiser is sitting behind bars to see a judge.
Police say that 30-year-old Alexander Gonzalez Jr. was acting strange near Princeton and Orange Avenue on Friday night. They say when an officer approached to check on him, Gonzalez ran from the officer, got into his squad car, and drove off. Police say he crashed less than a mile away.
Gonzalez is facing a number of charges this morning.
