Hyundai is recalling 143,472 vehicles due to a faulty rearview camera that doesn’t display, lowering the driver’s view behind the car and raising the risk of a crash.

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration stated in a Nov. 21 recall notice that the rearview camera may not have been installed correctly and this can "damage the wiring harness and cause the rearview camera image not to display."
