Carrington was born on December 14, 1959 in San Jose, California. Having only grown as tall as 3 feet 10 inches, Carrington had a decades-long career as both an actress and a stuntwoman. Her stature allowed her to perform in a number of roles as a stunt person for child actors or costumed roles for smaller individuals.
