Daytona 500 2027 won't be on Presidents' Day weekend

Frank Kelleher, president of Daytona International Speedway and NASCAR's Southeastern Region, announced Wednesday morning on FOX 35 that the Daytona 500 would not be held on Presidents Day weekend due to a competing sports schedule. The race will be held a week later on Feb. 21.
