Woman shot during fight at hotel in Orlando's tourist district, deputies say

ORLANDO, Fla. - A suspect is in custody after a shooting at in Orlando's tourism district.

Orange County deputies say a woman was shot during a fight with a man at the Clarion Inn, at 8444 International Drive.

The 27-year-old victim sustained a non-life-threatening gunshot wound. She was transported to Orlando Regional Medical Center in stable condition and is expected to recover.

The suspect, identified as a 37-year-old man, was still on scene and taken into custody when deputies arrived.  He is charged with aggravated battery with a firearm.
