The search continues for a 15-year-old female who was pulled into a SUV in Titusville
TITUSVILLE, Fla. (FOX 35 WOFL) - The search continues for a 15-year-old girl who was last seen being pulled into a SUV in Titusville on Tuesday.
The Titusville Police are asking the public for tips, as they still do not know who the girl might be or where she is.
The search has been on for 24 hours or so after police say that three independent witnesses described an incident in which a young female was forced into a vehicle against her will. They say that the girl was walking down the street at Barna and King Court when, around 8 a.m., a charcoal gray SUV pulled up and snatched the girl.
Investigators says that the female, described as a black teen who is about 5'05" tall, was last seen wearing a green shirt and khaki pants. She has dreads in her hair with one white stripe.
Investigators also said that they have checked with nearby schools and no one was reported absent who matches the description. They say that they have no missing person's report at this time either. They are treating this like a kidnapping case nonetheless.
If you have any information concerning the whereabouts of this person, please contact the FDLE at 1-888-FL-MISSING or the Titusville Police Department at 321-264-7800.
