Police search for 'armed and dangerous' suspect who shot his wife and one other

A shooting in St. Cloud has left a man dead and a woman fighting for her life.

Police are spending Monday morning searching for the suspect behind this crime. They believe 49-year-old Rafael Perdomo Primera is suspected of shooting his wife and another man. He is still on the run and police say he is armed and dangerous.

"If you do see this individual, call 911. We are considering him armed and dangerous. We have not recovered a firearm at the scene. We are working with our neighboring agencies at the moment and a photo has been put out for the individual," says Sgt. Frankie De La Rosa from the St. Cloud Police Department.

Officers say they were called to Cross Creek Court in the Sugar Mill Subdivision around 3:30 p.m. on Sunday. Upon arrival, they found the two victims outside a home.

The man who was shot was in his late 50s and did not survive. The woman was in her 40s and was taken to the hospital in critical condition. Police have not yet released their names or told us about the relationship between the victims. They did confirm that Primera is the woman victim's husband, though.

Police say that Primera may be in a Silver Mazda four-door, with Florida tag 267RFL.

Anyone with information is asked to call the St. Cloud Police Department.
