Orlando weather: Frost expected across most of Central Florida on Friday and Saturday with temps in 30s
ORLANDO, Fla. - Showers, drizzle, and mist will persist through Friday morning, tapering off around 4-5 a.m. in the Orlando area.
Conditions along I-75 will begin to clear after midnight, with temperatures dropping near 32 degrees by Friday morning in Ocala, Gainesville, and The Villages.

A FOX 35 Weather Impact Day is in effect for Friday and Saturday mornings due to cold temperatures. Widespread frost and freeze conditions are expected, with temperatures near 32 degrees in many areas away from the I-95 corridor.

Friday will bring a return of sunshine across Central Florida, but not before temperatures take a dive overnight Thursday.

A Freeze Warning has been issued for most counties located northwest of the I-4 corridor and most inland Volusia County.

The coldest night of the winter so far is anticipated for Friday night into Saturday morning, with Freeze Warnings or Frost Advisories likely for Orlando as temperatures drop to 32 degrees or lower.

What's next:
A few areas of patchy frost will be possible early Saturday morning. This will likely be what is our last gasp of unseasonably cold temperatures, as morning lows fall into the low and middle 30s.

A Freeze Watch has been issued for all counties northwest of the I-4 corridor.

Saturday will start out cold but high temperatures will warm up into the 60s. On Sunday, lows will be in the mid-40s and highs will rise to around 70 degrees.
Dry conditions are forecast through next Thursday following tonight’s showers, with temperatures reaching near 80 degrees by the end of next week.
