Florida Health has reported that they want to remind you of steps you can take to ward off the flu.

They encourage residents to get their flu vaccine now if they have not already. They recommend it for everyone six months and older, including pregnant women. You can locate a flu shot provider HERE.

They also recommend that you:

  • Wash your hands often with soap and water.
  • Clean and disinfect surfaces and objects.
  • Cover your cough.
  •  If you are sick, stay home.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has announced that this might be the peak of this year’s flu season.
