Deputies search 3 Ormond-area internet cafés
ORMOND BEACH, Fla. (FOX 35 ORLANDO) - Volusia County sheriff’s detectives on Tuesday executed search warrants at two Internet cafés in the Ormond Beach area, where illegal gambling activity has been suspected.
Both locations, The Spot at 1220 Hand Ave. and The Hot Spot at 1230 Hand Ave., were shut down and issued cease and desist orders as a result of previous investigations. Deputies were seizing equipment to be forensically examined.
No arrests have been made. The investigation is active and ongoing.
