Lakers star LeBron James has finally responded to comments made by Los Angeles County Sheriff Alex Villanueva, who challenged James to contribute to a reward to find the man who ambushed two deputies in Compton on Sept. 12, and criticized James' previous comments about racial profiling.

Amway Center to serve as polling location for 2020 election

Orlando's Amway Center will be used as an early voting polling location for voters in the 2020 election in November. The announcement was made on Wednesday during a news conference attended by Orlando and Orange County leaders and players with the Orlando Magic.

Orlando Magic co-founder Pat Williams calls boycott historic

Pat Williams is the co-founder of the Orlando Magic.  He watched closely Wednesday night as the Milwaukee Bucks decided to forfeit last night game and the Magic opted not to accept that forfeiture as both teams wanted to steer the spotlight on Kenosha Wisconsin. 

NBA referees talk boycott and solidarity march

About 75 NBA referees showed their support of players on Thursday to postpone games in protest of the shooting in Wisconsin by Kenosha police of Jacob Blake, a 29-year-old Black man.
