As Georgia continues to count its ballots, the Trump campaign announced early Wednesday evening it has filed a lawsuit in the state seeking to ensure elections officials are following the law when it comes to absentee ballots.

Even with Wisconsin, the presidential race was undecided Wednesday because neither candidate had reached the required 270 electoral votes.

Earlier Wednesday, Trump said he'll take the presidential election to the Supreme Court, but it's unclear what he meant in a country in which vote tabulations routinely continue beyond Election Day, and states largely set the rules for when the count has to end.

The U.S. gambling industry has won big at the polls as three states authorized legal sports betting and three others either approved or expanded casino gambling.

Dozens of Republican challengers demanded to be let in to observe the count of ballots inside the TCF Center in Detroit on Wednesday.

“We’re seeing exactly what we expected, which is not enough, especially in the case of Facebook,” said Shannon McGregor, an assistant professor of journalism and media at the University of North Carolina.

Joe Biden stopped short of declaring victory in remarks after winning Wisconsin, saying, “I will govern as an American president.”

“We want our freedom for the world! Give us our freedom Joe Biden,” the man yelled.

More than 12 hours after polls closed on Election Day, the hope that Democrats held to flip the Senate as well as retain majority control of the House faded away as Republicans held on to key Senate seats.

With almost 30 years as an elected official, the junior Senator has also served in U.S. House of Representatives six years until 2014 when he ran for and won the U.S. Senate seat vacated by Carl Levin.
