ORLANDO, Fla. - How educated is Florida? WalletHub, a personal finance website, looked at all 50 states using 18 different factors to see how well-educated their populations are.
These factors include the level of education people have, the quality of schools, and achievement gaps between genders and races.

Here is how Florida ranked, according to WalletHub:
- Overall Rank: 20th
- 34th – % of High-School Diploma Holders
- 33rd – % of Associate's Degree Holders or College-Experienced Adults
- 26th – % of Bachelor’s Degree Holders
- 26th – % of Graduate- or Professional-Degree Holders
- 9th – Avg. University Quality
- 34th – Racial Gap in Educational Attainment

Big picture view:
Massachusetts has been named the most educated state in the country. Known for colleges like MIT and Harvard, WalletHub found that the state has the highest percentage of adults ages 25 and older with at least a bachelor’s degree, the highest share with a graduate or professional degree, and is one of only 10 states offering free community college with few eligibility requirements.
