Two officers with the Daytona Beach Police Department were suspended for 40 hours after allegedly locking their son in a jail cell because he had an accident while potty training. Daytona Beach police said Monday both officers already served their sentences. They were punished for bringing scrutiny to the department. The Department of Families and Children found the allegations unfounded and prosecutors declined to file charges, court records show.

They thought the storm had passed but were shocked at what they saw in New Smyrna Beach.

She noticed it looked it was starving, and its leg was severely fractured. The bobcat eluded rescuers for two days, but they haven?t given up. The Wild Florida Rescue team says finding the injured animal in the Pine Cove neighborhood is like finding a needle in a haystack. Volunteers set out new traps with fresh food and will check them on Thursday. Neighbors want to see the bobcat out of its misery.
