Suspect arrested in connection to 2023 'suspicious death', according to Orlando police

ORLANDO, Fla. - A suspect has been arrested in connection to a 2023 "suspicious death" investigation in Orlando.
The backstory:
On the morning of July 8, 2023, police responded to Summerlin Avenue and Palmer Street after receiving reports of a car crash.
Upon their arrival, officers discovered the victim, 57-year-old Terrance Dolan, inside the vehicle. However, his injuries did not appear consistent with a car crash.
Dolan was transported to Orlando Regional Medical Center where he was later pronounced dead.

What we know:
On Monday, over a year after the incident, 25-year-old Herlin Petion, was apprehended by U.S. Marshals in Dayton, Ohio.
According to the Orlando Police Department, Petion faces charges of second degree murder with a weapon.
What we don't know:
Petion has not yet been charged. The Orlando Police Department stated that this was all the information they could provide at this time.
