Status hearing for accused cop killer on Tuesday

ORLANDO, Fla. (FOX 35 WOFL) - A status hearing for accused cop killer Markeith Loyd will take place today.

A judge has been ordered for Loyd to be present for his upcoming trial in the shooting death of Lieutenant Debra Clayton.

That trial is set to begin in January of next year.
