"We have all kinds of new and exciting things in this land," Creative Development Manager Amanda Trauger told Fox 35. "There is a new kid's wet play area. It's called Rubber Ducky Water Works featuring Ernie. We have The County and his dry play area and it's a count-around playground. We also have a big, new parade that we're super excited about."

There will be a new street to walk down, new interactive experiences that will allow kids to explore the area, and six newly-themed rides!

The opening is also happening with Sesame Street celebrating its 50th birthday this year.

“In partnering with Sesame Workshop, we are creating a land for guests to make an authentic connection that can only be found in hugging a furry friend or reading a book with Big Bird,” said Trauger.

The new themed area will be located on the south end of the park, where Happy Harbor currently stands.
