Puppy rescued from storm drain

LAKE COUNTY, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35) - A puppy is safe and back at home after falling down a storm drain in Lake County.

The sheriff's office says that Animal Enforcement Officer Supervisor Alyssa Bates climbed down and found the Shih-Poo, a Poodle and a Shih Tzu mix, that had been missing in the Grand Island Reserve neighborhood.

Deputies say an alert pizza delivery driver was making a delivery and heard a faint bark coming from the drain, and alerted officials.
