Person found on Orlando street with severe burns to body, fire department says

A person with severe extensive burns was found overnight on a street in Orlando, according to Orange County Fire Rescue. 

This happened on Prairie Rose Court early Tuesday morning, officials said. 

The person was transported to a local hospital. 

An update from police on Tuesday morning revealed this was an attempted suicide. 

The State Fire Marshal has been notified.
