Looking ahead, mostly sunny skies are forecast through Friday, with temperatures reaching the mid-70s on Wednesday, upper 70s on Thursday, and low to mid-80s by Friday afternoon.

Dry conditions and a warm southwest wind are expected to push temperatures higher, with Friday’s forecasted high in Orlando at 83 degrees, just shy of the record high of 86 degrees set for the date. Some projections suggest highs could even reach 84 to 85 degrees.

A cold front is expected to move through Friday night into Saturday morning, bringing increased cloud cover and a few light rain showers. Saturday will likely begin cloudy and gray but is expected to clear during the afternoon. No significant rainfall is anticipated.

Sunday will bring mostly sunny skies, providing ideal weather for the Pro Bowl in Orlando, with temperatures expected to warm back up as the week progresses.

The first week of February is shaping up to feature more 80-degree days, marking a significant departure from January’s cooler weather pattern in Florida and along the Gulf Coast.

Stay tuned for updates as the warming trend continues.
