Orlando weather: Warm Wednesday ahead with possible thunderstorms in Central Florida

Skies will be partly to mostly cloudy, with scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms overnight along the Space Coast moving in from the ocean. 

Fog and mist may develop overnight across the region.

When will the rain end in Central Florida?

Expect partly to mostly cloudy skies with unseasonably high humidity for December. Passing showers and a possible thunderstorm could occur at any time throughout the day.

A cold front will move across the peninsula Thursday, bringing an isolated shower and gusty northwest winds, followed by a sharp drop in humidity.

LOOKING AHEAD: Friday through Sunday, mostly sunny conditions are expected, with highs in the 60s and lows dipping into the 40s at night. The coldest period will be Saturday night into Sunday morning, with wind chills in the 30s and low 40s, except near the immediate beaches.

Christmas Day Forecast for Orlando

Temperatures will warm up heading into Christmas week, with highs likely reaching the 70s. A few showers are possible on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day in central Florida.
