“It’s a shame though that a beautiful day like this a young life was taken, no justification whatsoever. I’m sure we’ll determine in the process, but someone has to know who was involved in this,” Orlando Police Chief Orlando Rolon said.
There have been several instances of gang violence in Orlando and Orange County over the last few months. However, this is the first shooting in the Parramore area in a while.
“Just about an hour before this incident happened, we were talking about the fact that we have seen a 60% decline in homicides in the Parramore area in the last two years. Unfortunately, soon after we had that discussion, this incident occurred,” Chief Rolon said.
Anyone with information regarding the shooting is asked to call Crimeline at 1-800-423-TIPS.
