OFD: 2 people rescued after car goes into Orlando pond

ORLANDO, Fla. - Two people were rescued Thursday afternoon after the car they were traveling in ended up in a pond off State Road 417 near Dowden Road, according to the Orlando Fire Department.
The pair were removed from the water and taken to a local hospital with minor injuries, authorities said.
The car did not fully submerge.
