Missing Marion Co. man found safe

MARION COUNTY, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35) - Update: Deputies say Dennis Zayas, who suffers from a mental disorder, was found safe Sunday.

Deputies said Dennis Zayas, who suffers from a mental disorder, was found Sunday afternoon in Tampa.

Investigators said the Marion County man was last picked up from Solita's Comfort Group Home in Ocklawaha on New Year's Eve by his sister, who suffers from memory issues.

Together, the two went on a road trip when Dennis' sister's car broke down on North Highway 301 inThonotosassa, Florida.

Investigators said she left the car and was later found and taken back to Marion county, but Dennis, who stayed with the car, went missing.
