Man struck by train in Port St. John identified
PORT ST. JOHN, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35) - The Brevard County Sheriff's Office is investigating the death of a pedestrian who was struck by a train in Port St. John on Monday evening.
Shortly after 9 p.m., the Sheriff's Office was called to the area of U.S. 1 and Fay Boulevard in Port St. John. A Florida East Coast Railroad worker reported a man was laying on the tracks near the intersection as the two-mile-long train came through. The train conductor located a body near Elkham Boulevard.
The victim was identified as 36-year-old Raymond East, of Port St. John.
