Man finds body after searching for crashed drone
FLAGLER COUNTY, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35) - The Flagler County Sheriff's Office is investigating after human remains were discovered in a wooded area in South Flagler County on Wednesday.
An Ormond Beach man came across the remains in the woods near Ashford Lakes Dr., while looking for his drone that had crashed. He alerted the Sheriff's Office.
The remains were located about 100 feet into the woods and may have been here for some years, but it is too early to tell, investigators say. The medical examiner will conduct an autopsy to determine the manner and time of death.
