Man exposes himself to Florida T.J. Maxx customers, including children, police say
DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - A man was taken to jail in Florida after he exposed himself to customers inside a local T.J. Maxx store, according to police.
What we know:
On Saturday, Jan. 11, police responded to a T.J. Maxx store located on Cornerstone Boulevard in Daytona Beach for a report of a man exposing and rubbing himself inside the store.
Witnesses, including a child, told officers they saw the man exposing his genitals in the shoe aisle.
Who is Johnnie Toler?
The Daytona Beach Police Department identified the suspect as 33-year-old Johnnie Toler. Officers said they found him inside the store with his genitals exposed.
Toler told investigators he did not realize he was exposed and had no intention of exposing himself to others, authorities said.

However, police said they reviewed store surveillance video which allegedly showed Toler engaging in inappropriate behavior in the presence of customers, including children. He also made lewd gestures while near others, police said.
Officers collected evidence including clothing and a phone from the scene.
Toler was arrested on charges of lewd and lascivious behavior and providing false information to law enforcement.
