Kissimmee Utility Authority sending linemen to the Carolinas

KISSIMMEE, Fla. (FOX 35 WOFL) - A team from Kissimmee Utility Authority (KUA) headed north to help restore power in the Carolinas.

The team of 10 linemen took off on Saturday. They are bringing several thousands pounds of supplies to North Carolina.

Orlando Utilities Commission, Duke Energy, and Florida Power and Light have also sent crews to the Carolinas to help with power restoration.
