OUC sending line technicians to the Carolinas to help with Hurricane Florence restoration

- The Orlando Utilities Commission (OUC) confirmed that they will send a crew of 18 OUC line technicians, mechanics, and fleet personnel to the Carolinas to help restore electricity to those affected by Hurricane Florence.

The crew will depart Orlando on Friday around 3:30 p.m. for Orangeburg, South Carolina. 

Both Duke Energy and Florida Power & Light have already sent crews to the Carolinas to also help restore electricity for homes affected by Hurricane Florence.
