Home heavily damaged after fire breaks out

A fire broke out at an Orange County home this Monday morning. 

The Orange County Fire Rescue says that a fire broke out at a home in Plantation Oaks at about 7 a.m. Monday morning. One adult resident was home, while the other occupants were out to school.

They say that the resident woke up to the smell of smoke and was able to escape. The home suffered heavy damage. 

There were no reported injuries.
