Missing 6-year-old Florida girl with autism found safe

UPDATE: Empress Moore, 6, was found safe on Monday after being reported missing on Sunday night, which prompted a statewide alert, according to the Lakeland Police Department

Authorities did not reveal the location where she was found but expressed gratitude to the community for their support.

Authorities have issued a statewide alert in Florida for a missing 6-year-old girl with autism. 

What we know:

Empress Moore was last seen Sunday, Jan. 26, in the 800 block of North New York Avenue in Lakeland, according to the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE). 

She was wearing a puffy blue jacket, blue leggings and pink sparkly boots. 

Empress is 4 feet 3 inches tall, weighs 55 pounds, and has braids in her hair.

What we don't know:

Officials have not disclosed any further information about the circumstances of the child's disappearance.

Anyone with information regarding her location is asked to call the Lakeland Police Department at 863-834-6900 or 911.
