Deputies seek help to find good Samaritans

Flagler Co. (WOFL FOX 35) - A routine traffic stop in Flagler County this week resulted in a felony offense of battery on a law enforcement officer and resisting arrest with violence.

During the incident, two citizens stopped to assist deputies until backup arrived. The good Samaritans were not identified.

Flagler County deputies would like to thank them for their assistance and support. They are asking the public for help identifying these citizens so they can be recognized by Sheriff Staly. 

In the video obtained by Fox 35 News, you can see the deputy trying to secure suspect Morgan Byrnes outside of his car. The deputy says Byrnes was resisting arrest. Two men are seen in the body camera footage helping the deputy put handcuffs on Byrnes.
