Arrest made in 2015 hit and run

SEMINOLE COUNTY, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35) - The search for a man accused in a deadly hit-and-run incident is over.

Troopers with the Florida Highway Patrol arrested 31-year-old Alexander Valentin.  The arrest happened late Thursday afternoon, shortly after an warrant was issued.

Authorities say Valentin struck and killed a 51-year-old man who was riding his bike to work in August of 2015.   They say DNA evidence and surveillance video helped them identify Valentin as a suspect.
