Ron Burkett of Trussville is a photographer and digital creator, according to his website, Rob Burkett Photography.

Burkett decided to put his creative chops to work and, instead of just giving his driveway a good pressure cleaning, he decided to create artwork in the grime to celebrate the upcoming Fourth of July weekend.

What they're saying:

"Well it was time to pressure wash my driveway again, so I thought I'd do a little something to celebrate the upcoming holiday, HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY! Along with fireworks and the U.S. Navy Blue Angels, let's get the party started!" Burkett wrote on his Facebook.

Burkett even shared the entire process on his YouTube channel.

How long did it take?

Burkett said the entire mural took about 20 hours to draw over six days.

"This is my third mural to do on my driveway over the past 5 years – they’re fun to do, and I like doing large-scale artwork," Burkett told FOX Local.

It takes about three years for Burkett’s driveway to get dirty enough to warrant a pressure washing. A few years ago, he created a nativity scene and five years ago he created a Rocky Mountain scene.
