President Trump announces drug deal with Pfizer

On Tuesday, President Donald Trump announced an agreement with Pfizer to voluntarily sell its medications at lower prices. Pfizer has agreed to take measures to lower U.S. drug prices, including selling its existing drugs to Medicaid patients at the lowest price offered in other developed nations.

Trump to put tariffs on pharmaceuticals, furniture, heavy trucks

The president said Thursday on his social media site that foreign manufacturers of furniture and cabinetry were flooding the United States with their products and that tariffs must be applied “for National Security and other reasons.”
