Altamonte police search for missing teen girl with autism

The Altamonte Springs Police Department (ASPD) is asking for the public's help in locating a 13-year-old girl with autism who went missing on Tuesday. Police say Rachael Scott was last seen around 5:15 p.m. in the area of Wymore Road in Seminole County. Anyone with information on Rachael's location is asked to call the ASPD at (407) 339-2441 or to dial 911.

Great white shark photobombs FAU's ocean camera

Researchers at Florida Atlantic University (FAU) made a cool discovery while viewing their underwater ocean camera footage ? a great white shark! The shark was estimated to be 10-feet long. Stephen Kajiura, Ph.D., a professor of biological sciences at FAU, said the footage was a "rare moment of shark-on-shark action ? or what we?re coining as a ?shark photobomb.?"

Convicted killer wrongly freed from jail captured in Florida

Kathan Guzman, the convicted killer who was mistakenly released from a Georgia prison, was captured in Florida on Friday. He was located by U.S. Marshals Service at his mother's house, the U.S. Marshals Service and Clayton County District Attorney's Office told FOX 35. Officials say he was released due to a paperwork error. Guzman was expected to appear in court on Saturday morning.
