The best internet trolling after Florida loses to Georgia

A new URL set up over the weekend appears to be poking fun at the Florida Gator’s loss Saturday to the Georgia Bulldogs in Jacksonville.

The annual rivalry gets pretty heated at times, but this year someone has taken it to the next level.

Good Day Atlanta’s Buck Lanford first found out about a little internet fun that appears to be at the expense of the Gators. Typing in the URL losebynineteen.com into a web browser will redirect the user to ufl.edu. No word on how much additional web traffic has been generated for the university.

According to several online URL registry databases, the website losebynineteen.com was registered around 9:42 p.m. Saturday through a third-party website host. The website will expire on 10/28/19, which is five full days before the two teams’ next meeting.

The Georgia-Florida game will once again be hosted in Jacksonville on Nov. 2, 2019.
