Fresno State suspends Lazarus, Moliga for opener

FRESNO, Calif. (AP) - Fresno State has suspended linebacker Michael Lazarus and running back Chris Moliga for its Sept. 3 opener against Abilene Christian because of violations of athletic department policy.
Athletic director Jim Bartko announced the suspensions Thursday. He didn't provide details of the infractions.
Lazarus is a sophomore from Berkeley. He played in seven games last season, making seven tackles.
Moliga is a redshirt freshman from San Diego.
