Zookeeper bitten by tiger at ZooMiami
MIAMI, Fla. - Officials at Zoo Miami say a tiger bit a zookeeper on the finger during feeding time.
Spokesman Ron Magill said a 20-year-old female zookeeper was feeding the tiger through the fence when the tiger bit the tip of her finger. Feeding the tiger through the fence is against zoo protocol, Magill said. The zookeeper was taken to the hospital and is expected to recover.
