Woman struck, killed on Interstate 95 in Volusia County

PORT ORANGE, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35) - Northbound lanes of Interstate 95 were closed for hours on Wednesday night in Volusia County due to an incident involving a pedestrian fatality. 

The Florida Highway Patrol says that the victim, a woman, was on the roadway near the interchange with State Road 421 in Port Orange.   She was hit by a semi-trailer truck and several other vehicles.  Her identity has  not yet been released.
