Woman in taxi shot in leg

ORLANDO, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35) - Orlando police officers are investigating after a woman was shot while inside a taxi cab. 

Units responded to the area of Ivey Lane and King Cole Blvd. just before 10 p.m. on Monday, in reference to a shooting -- a woman in a taxi was shot in the leg by an unknown suspect.

She was transported to a local hospital with a non-life threatening injury. The investigation continues. Anyone with information is asked to call 911 or CRIMELINE at 800-423-TIPS (8477).
