Woman hospitalized after possible shark bite at Melbourne Beach

MELBOURNE BEACH, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35) - Brevard County Fire Rescue says a woman was transported to a hospital after being injured at Melbourne Beach, near a gated complex at 2999 S. Highway A1A.  

The 32-year-old woman, who is visiting from New Jersey, sustained injuries "consistent with a small shark or other toothy sea creature," authorities say.
