Whataburger is celebrating its 75th birthday on Friday by offering customers burgers for only 75 cents. 

The Texas-based burger chain announced the news in a recent news release.

Whataburger’s 75-cent burger deal is available on Aug. 8 from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. local time. 

The offer is limited to one hamburger per customer with a Whataburger rewards account.

Throughout this month, the company is also also serving a second collection of limited-edition Whataburger Commemorative Cups with new designs to continue the 75th anniversary celebration.

The backstory:

Since the start of the year, Whataburger has celebrated its 75-year legacy by reviving fan-favorite menu items from the WhataVault, introducing new menu items, including its craft beverage line featuring the Prickly Pear Raspberry Whatafresher.

The chain operates over 1,100 restaurants in 17 states, particularly in Texas, the South, and the Southwest.
